Machinery Ring

What is the Machinery Ring?

  • The ring matches available equipment on some farms with a shortage of machinery on others.
  • Members no longer need incur the expenses involved in owning and maintaining a full complement of equipment and staff for all jobs.

Who can join the machinery ring? Anyone who:

  • has an interest in grassland management
  • has access to grassland machinery and
  • can provide labour for grassland management

As well as mainstream equipment, we are keen to locate the following specialist equipment:

  • Small baler
  • Mini baler
  • Double chop forage harvester
  • Tractor mounted flail
  • Weed wiper
  • Broadcast fertilizer spreader
  • Straw choppers

If you are interested in joining or simply wish to know more about the concept please contact the Pastures New Office on 01300 321 329
or email
