Machinery Ring
What is the Machinery Ring?
- The ring matches available equipment on some farms with a shortage of machinery on others.
- Members no longer need incur the expenses involved in owning and maintaining a full complement of equipment and staff for all jobs.
Who can join the machinery ring? Anyone who:
- has an interest in grassland management
- has access to grassland machinery and
- can provide labour for grassland management
As well as mainstream equipment, we are keen to locate the following specialist equipment:
- Small baler
- Mini baler
- Double chop forage harvester
- Tractor mounted flail
- Weed wiper
- Broadcast fertilizer spreader
- Straw choppers
