The Pink Seafans that had recently been residing in the centre have been returned to their original reef, 18 metres under the sea, courtesy of a kind group of local divers.
Although the sun seems to have deserted us this summer, the numbers of visitors joining in with our warden - led shore activities have still been high.
Lots of visitors to the reserve have been helping us in our quest to collect 1 million nurdles and fill our Nurdleometer from the shores of Kimmeridge Bay.
Our 30th birthday since the designation of the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve was celebrated under the name of Seafest and doubled up as the launch of Marine Week. SeaFest, held at Kimmeridge, was a great day for everyone involved.
