Guided Walks and Marine Events

Unless stated otherwise, all events cost £3 adult, £1.50 child and participants must meet at the Marine Centre, by slipway at Kimmeridge Bay.  (SY 909 787)

Some events are weather dependent. Contact the Marine Centre on the day if in doubt.  Please telephone 01929 481044. 

For shore activities wellies or beach sandals are recommended.

WILLOW LOBSTER-POT WORKSHOP 10-4PM

Alan Lander, retired Purbeck fisherman, will help you make your own willow lobster pot in the traditional way. £20 per person.  Places limited, booking essential. Bring a packed lunch and a cushion.

TIDES AND SEASHORE ANIMALS  (Young Marine Warden Training)

How and why tides effect the distribution of seashore species. Learn how to scientifically survey the Flats at Kimmeridge for climate change indicator species.
