Size: 38ha.
Ancient woodland slopes down to a small fast-flowing stream. Swathes of wood anemones, with orchids providing colour to the open areas. The haymeadows are cut annually and wood pasture is grazed, creating fields of wild flowers & butterflies.
Wildlife interest:
- Typical woodland bird species are found.
- The stream providing sightings of grey wagtails & kingfishers.
- Flowers include early purple orchids, wood anemones, sanicle & dog violets, with betony, fleabane & devil's-bit scabious in the grassland.
- Butterflies include silver-washed & marsh fritillaries.

- Spring for the flowers & birds.
- Summer for butterflies.
- Autumn brings an abundance of fungi

Limited parking with difficult access due to steep and muddy tracks.
