NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Dorset Wildlife Trust will be held at the Springfield Hotel, Wareham on Friday 12 September 2008 at 6.00pm to transact the following business:
1. To receive the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 14 September 2007.
2. To receive, consider and adopt the Accounts, Statement of Financial Activities and Balance Sheets of the Dorset Trust for Nature Conservation Limited and the DTNC (Sales) Limited and the Reports of the Trustees, Directors and Auditors in respect of the year ended 31 March 2008.
3. To appoint Mazars LLP as Auditors for the year 2008/9.
4. To elect members of Council:
a. Under Article 31 one third of the Council shall retire. The following members are due to retire:
Jo Davies, Tony Thomas, Nigel Webb, Barry Welch, Anne Wheatcroft
b. Under Article 33 retiring members are eligible for re-election.
c. Nominations proposed and seconded for persons to serve on Council should be sent to the Hon Secretary by 1 September 2008.
5. Any Other Business - (Notice of any matters to be raised should be given to the Hon Secretary not later than 8 September 2008).
